The Osiris setup requires you to get tunes directly from the company, so there's really no tuning involved, although there's been talk of releasing a DIY version, I think that Cobb's system is modifiable though. Second, Cobb and Uprev both have setups where you can download a new program from a laptop. First, you can go through a company like Altered Atmospheres or Technosqare, who you send your ECU to, and they return it with the new code. I've never tuned an engine, so I couldn't tell you how hard it is, but I suspect it's a factor of the software you're using, and the practice you've had at it.Īs I posted in another thread recently, there are really only two ways to reflash the Z's ecu. Right now it sounds like you have very little understanding of tuning an engine, at least for the Z.
